Note from our head coach Yoni:
We are fortunate that Ben and his family were moving back to Toronto literally the same week we started looking for a new coach!
There are several time-slots where we haven't had availability for months or even years. Once Ben is full our morning schedule will be maxed out and future growth will come from filling the afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Currently Ben's schedule is from 6:00am - 1:00pm but his hours will be expanding next month.

Ben's coaching story starts well before he became a trainer. Growing up, he was always in motion — soccer, track (100m, 400m, 800m), cross country. Around age 15, he watched a group of competitive swimmers from Barbados compete in Trinidad and noticed something: they looked more athletic than the soccer players his age. It turned out resistance training was baked into their program in a way it never was for soccer. Ben started training the same way, and the difference on the field was immediate — the game got easier. That was the moment the secret clicked: excelling at a sport often comes down to the work you put in away from it. He's built his coaching around that idea ever since.
That same drive took him further into sport. He represented Barbados on the National Under-17 Soccer Team from 2005–2007 before moving to Canada to study Human Performance, graduating from Humber College's Fitness & Health Promotion program and earning his certification as a Fitness Health Specialist & Personal Trainer.
Since 2011, Ben has built programs for athletes at every level — from junior soccer players to a professional surfer who won the 2013 ASP North America Pro Junior Series. That athletic background shapes how he coaches everyone: strength and conditioning work that's built for performance first, with movement quality, power, and injury resilience baked into every program.
Ben brings that same structure to his current clients — busy professionals who want to train like athletes even if they've never called themselves one. Prepare, perform, recover: Ben builds the program around where you are in your season, whatever that season looks like.
Ben's certifications include: CPT, ISSA, FHS, Kettlebell Athletics Level 1, CPR/AED
